Elizabeth Andrea Bitsie Tulloch was born in the year 1981. The actress is famous for the character of Eve/Juliette Silverton on Grimm, an NBC series Grimm. Tulloch is a Californian born actress, who was raised in Spain Uruguay, Argentina and San Diego. Tulloch is known as Bitsie and isn't an abbreviation of her first name Elizabeth. It's a reference to a nickname that was given by her grandfather in World War II who also participated in the Goldsboro B52 accident. Tulloch's acting career started with her being given the name Bitsie. This continued until 2017 which is when Tulloch decided to use Elizabeth. For my introductions to strangers, Bitsie is still the name I use. It worked in the beginning when I first started acting during my early 20s. When I was in my 30s, I still felt the need to re-visit Elizabeth. If I had done a movie, the thought never even came to my mind. It was Elizabeth who the director noticed while filling in legal documents. Do you want billing? Then I started thinking about this. I then called my manager, and both of them said yes, that's an excellent idea. The time has come to change your age. Bitsie however, on contrary is a sweet and cute name. It's adorable. Was it all that was really? Elizabeth wasn't the name I used to introduce myself. The name is only for billing purposes for the future. Tulloch's ancestry is Scottish with Spanish influences. Tulloch has stated her first language was Spanish but she now believes she is fluent in Spanish. Her paternal grandparents are of Renfrewshire as well as a great-grandfather from Kirkwall. Both are in Scotland. In an interview with BBC News she reported that we think the first Tulloch came to the US about 1880. The Kerrs arrived in the early 1900s. Following her return back to U.S. she went to middle and high school in Bedford New York. Tulloch earned a magnacum laude in Harvard University, with double majors in English as well as American Literature and visual and environmental studies.
